Dr Amal moved from London to Australia in 2012 and brings more than 20 years of medical experience across a wide range of fields. She holds a Master's degree in rheumatology and rehabilitation from Cairo University. She also holds a diploma in sexual health and HIV medicine, earned while working at St Mary's Hospital in London, and a UK diploma in family planning.

Dr Amal has a particular interest in women's health and in caring for older patients. She is passionate about dermatology and is completing further study in skin cancer medicine. She also provides consultations through our chronic pain management service.
