Dr Patricia Overvliet is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners with special interests in minor procedures and women's health.
My Story
Dr Tricia graduated from the Australian National University School of Medicine in 2008 having completed a degree in biological science and honours study in genetics. In 2009 Dr Tricia moved with her family to Wagga to undertake her junior years at Wagga Base Hospital. In 2011 Dr Tricia started a speciality training into anaesthetics before switching her specialty to General practice. Hammond Health is the brainchild of Dr Tricia and her husband Ray Overvliet with the goal of providing quality healthcare to the wagga community.
Dr Tricia has a special interest in women’s health, specifically contraception, reproductive issues and antenatal care. As well as women’s health Dr Tricia has a passion for minor procedures and chronic pain management, as a result Dr Tricia began Waggas first Medical Cannabis Clinic. Dr Tricia is a friend to the LGBQTIA+ community
